Depending upon the light, this tooth can be black or a dark blue-gray. The serrations are spectacular. The root, blade, and tip are all complete. The bourlette is ca. 50%. This is not unusual for dark black teeth. This is a great tooth at a reasonable price. SOLD!! $125

This is one of those rare jet-black teeth. It is a lateral. The serrations are "razor sharp" and complete with less than 10 from the hundreds present slightly duller. The root is in beautiful shape. This tooth does exhibit minor enamel recession around the bourlette (chevron) on the "show" side, and an additional area of peel on the back side. Both of these areas are evident from the photograph and you can see for yourself. SOLD SOLD

This is another jet-black tooth out of my personal collection. I guess my wife was right; I have too many of them. The serrations are great with just a few missing right on the tip. The root is complete without even the normal expansion cracks. The bourlette is washed out as it is on many black teeth. This is a large, rare colored, and complete tooth in excellent condition. It will add color and value to any collection. FOR SALE $350

Great serrations, unusual collor on the root, blade, and bourlette; this is one of my nicest teeth. It has been in my collection for some time, now it is time for it to move on. The base color of the root, bourlette, and blade enamel is light lead grey (unusual), but mixed into that color there are spots of jet-black to dark grey mottling. There is one small spot on the serrations dulled by the shark's use while he owned the tooth. The root is unusually high quality for a 5"+ tooth. This is a very high quality tooth. FOR SALE $395

This unusual colored tan tooth has a "mahogany" bourlette (99%+), and a solid root with very few of the normal expansion cracks and no erosion. The blade is lightly chatoyant. The serrations are sharp (99%+). There is no hidden damage not apparent on the photo. Unusual colored teeth in this size and condition are becoming increasingly rare and difficult for me to acquire. ON HOLD $450
