This is a green-grey serrated tooth. There is some recessionl on the "front" around the bourlette, and another area on the back of the tooth. There is a small ding in the blade near its joint with the root where it could be either feeding or "fossilization" damage. FOR SALE $88

OK, Here is an unusually colored, mottled, razor-sharp serrated, tooth with 99% jet-black bourlette and 99% blade enamel. It would be on group 1 except for the small piece of root missing on its left side. Look closely at the photos. This one is a bargain. SOLD $115

This is another tooth recovered from a surface mine before it had a chance to bounce along the bottom of a river. The blade is "mauve" or sort of a tan-grey-pink. The blade is chatoyant on the front on the back... a condition I don't see very often. Serrations are spectacular and the bourlette is complete. Obvious from the photo is the small ding in the tip and the left root lobe. SOLD $125

This tooth is whole with smooth serrations. The enamel reflects light in a "cat-eye" fashion and there are some interesting black areas in the enamel as well (mottling). The photos illustrate the small areas of enamel recession around the bourlette and root pitting which are present. FOR SALE $125

This tooth is thick and heavy in spite of small areas of root pitting. The blade enamel is complete, in good condition, grey-green, and mottled. The tooth is serrated with minor normal feeding damage in the serrations and a very small "tick" out of the tip (not even visible from the "show" side). These characteristics are all well illustrated in the photos. SOLD $185

This is a large tooth which was difficult to capture with the camera. The enamel is glossy "swirled" blue mottling and this is the most chatoyant tooth I own. As you turn this blade in the light, it looks like you are looking directly into deep water on a bright day. The photos illustrate the relatively smooth serrations and minor root pitting.. this one came from my personal collection. SOLD $310

A massive, thick, and complete tooth. The enamel, root, and bourlette (chevron) have all been smoothed by ages in a river, but are in great shape. The few small flaws in this tooth (minor: peel, feeding damage, and root erosion) are easily seen in the photo. Enamel on this tooth is grey-green. This is an extremely large shark tooth in good condition. FOR SALE $285

This is a green/blue tooth with highlights of burnt orange. The blade is very glossy and chatoyant...actually it looks like the first megalodon I ever saw and reminds me of sea water. The serrations are still visible but polished by the same processes giving the tooth its high gloss. An interesting piece of natural history is that while the tooth was on the bottom of the ocean, a nearsighted clam borer attached itself to the root and attempted to extract its supper. Obviously a great deal of work for nothing. Beautiful solid tooth with lots of character and stories to tell. SOLD $290

This is a very large and heavy grey-green tooth. The enamel, bourlette, and deeply forked root are all basically complete. The photo will show the few minor spots of peel on the "front" and "rear". The tooth is slightly fanged. This tooth has been polished by countless years in a river but it is in great shape. SOLD $260

A monster of a megalodon tooth; whole in every respect. The tooth has been smoothed by years in a river. The serrations are still visible, but smooth. The enamel blade is dark green with darker green mottling. This is a beautiful solid tooth...look closely at the photos. FOR SALE $305

This is one of my largest megalodon teeth. It's just short of the "magic" 6inches and slightly less than 1 pound. It will "fill your hand", is complete, and the root is in exceptional condition for a tooth this size. The enamel is a "steel" blue-grey. The edges of this massive tooth bear whitness to battles with whales and most of the serrations were polished off by rivers during the time horses were losing all but one toe. It is interesting to note that a tooth in this condition only 3/16" longer costs ca. \$1000. SOLD $395
